Couple commits suicide in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: A man and his wife committed suicide by jumping into a canal in Khnadriga village of Kothapeta town in east Godavari district. They are identified as K Srinivas and K Bhavani, said police.
Swimmers tried to save them but water swept them away, said police. After knowing the incident police rushed to the spot and started search operation.
Next day morning body of Bhavani was found near Rakurthypalam village, but the man is untraceble, said police.
D Vijayakumar, sub-inspector of police said that "Srinivas and Bhavani had an inter-caste marriage. They have a two-year-old girl who is deaf and dumb".
They treated her in a local hospital but the result was negative,so they were worried about their daughters future, said the official. Police suspect that concern over daughter's future could be the reason for the couple to take extreme step.
