Woodside to setup an LNG Terminal in AP

Amaravati-Kakinada : Woodside is an Australina oil and gas comapnay want to setup a large LNG (Liquified Natural Gas) terminal at Kakinada. The company officials met with Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat with proposals. Representatives of the company explained their interest in investing in the state. State Economic Development Council CEO Jasti Krishna Kishore introduced them to the Chief Minister. Krishna Kishore explained that the company, which has nearly 60 years of experience in the field of oil and natural gas, is keen to set up a huge LNG terminal in the Andhra Pradesh state and invest Rs 8,000 crores directly to 1,200 people. Woodside vice president Reinhard Matinson, Technical Chief  Murthy Yerranki congratulated Chandrababu. CM was happy to know that Murthy was related to the Godavari Districts.
