Rajamahendravaram Mayor Pantam Rajani in tears for protocol violation

Rajamahendravaram : Agriculture Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy attended stone laying for agriculture college in Katheru. Rajamahendravaram Mayor Pantam Rajani Seshasai was in tears for ignoring her name on the plaque. She left the venue without taking part in the ceremony citing her name wasn't printed on the foundation stone. Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy attended as chief guest for an unveiling of the plaque. She was disappointed after her name was missing in the plaque.
Rajamahendravaram Mayor Rajani Sesha Sai complained to AP Agriculture Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy over protocol violation. She wept on the stage while protesting against the ill-treatment meted out to her.
Foundation Stone Ceremony of Rajahmundry Agricultural College took place on Sunday. Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and Officials of Agriculture Department graced the occasion.
Whereas, Rajani Sesha Sai alleged Officials haven't followed the protocol. Mayor alleged Officials had intentionally ignored her name. She left the venue without taking part in the ceremony citing her name wasn't printed on the foundation stone.
Rajamahendravaram Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary maintained social service is more important to them than publicity. He suggested the Mayor not to give too much importance to a petty issue.
