4 killed, vehicle falls into canyon

Chinturu : Four members were killed in a ghastly road accident when when a four-wheeler fell into a gorge at Tiger Camp near Maredupalli-Chinturu ghat road in East Godavari district in the early hours of Friday. Injured were admitted to the Chintoor government hospital for medical treatment. Those who suffered serious injuries were shifted to Rajahmundry. The accident took place when the deceased and injured were returning to Kakinada after attending a prayer meeting. Eyewitness says that the driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinna Rajappa enquired about the accident.
